PRODUCT INFORMATION
Our Nannochloropsis Powder is derived from a single-celled marine microalga, identified within the Chlorophyta division, specifically the Chlorophyceae class, Tetrasporales order, and Coccomgxaceae family. These cells are small, featuring a slender cell wall and a spherical or ovoid shape, measuring approximately 2-4μm in diameter. Nannochloropsis is known for its rapid proliferation and dense nutritional profile, making it a valuable resource in aquaculture as an optimal feed for arcidae, shrimp, crab, and rotifers.
Our premium Nannochloropsis algae are cultivated in advanced, enclosed photobioreactors under stringent GMP and HACCP compliant conditions. The microalgae undergo a meticulous dehydration and gentle spray-drying process. Its fine particle size and exceptional purity render it highly suitable for nurturing fish and shrimp larvae in green water culture environments, as well as a dietary supplement for zooplankton and various filter feeders.
Nannochloropsis encompasses a genus of algae with six recognized species. The taxonomic classification of this genus was first established by Hibberd. While primarily found in marine settings, these species also inhabit fresh and brackish waters. All species within this genus are characterized by their diminutive size, lack of motility, and spherical form, devoid of distinct morphological features that would allow differentiation through light or electron microscopy.

FEEDING GUIDELINES
Begin by thoroughly mixing the powder with water in a sealed container to create a concentrated solution. For green water cultures supporting shrimp and fish larvae, a dosage of 1 gram per 100 liters is recommended. When feeding corals in saltwater aquariums, we advise a daily dosage of 0.5 - 1 gram per 100 liters. For plankton such as Artemia or rotifers, administer 0.5 - 1 gram per liter. Additional amounts should be provided if the culture visibly loses its green hue.
